FOP # 141 SCHOLARSHIP

The Scholarship Committee recognizes the need and benefit of education (secondary as well as trades) for the family members of the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #141. The committee also recognizes that some members may not be financially able to provide funding to their loved ones to attend college, university, or trade school. The Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #141 wants to help provide assistance to its members in the form of a scholarship to enable them to obtain an education degree or trade certification.

It is the policy of the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #141 Scholarship Committee that all requests for scholarships from family members of FOP Lodge #141 members comply with the following guidelines:

• All requests shall be on forms approved by the Scholarship Committee.

• Applications MUST be typed out completely or Submitted Online on this page.

• FOP Lodge #141 Active Members and their immediate family members shall be eligible for scholarships so long as they are a member in good standing for at least five (5) years. 

• Applications are accepted starting February 1, 2026 and MUST be submitted by March 31, 2026.

• No member may receive more than one (1) scholarship from the FOP Lodge #141 in the same year.

• The member must not be eligible for money/reimbursement from his/her agency or employer for the family member.

• Funds for the scholarship will be awarded so long as funds are available. For calendar year 2026, two (2) scholarships of $500 each will be awarded. 

• The Scholarship Committee will review all requests for scholarships and recommend to the Lodge Board for final approval.

• No application will be accepted unless it is submitted according to the above-stated guidelines.
